WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A Channel Sales Representative based in Madrid to join our vibrant sales team who are retaining and growing our Channel. You provide a vital link between our product and services and the huge range of people and businesses that need them. You’ll collaborate with an experienced Regional Sales Manager for the DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) region to support our End-Users and Channel Partners. In this role, you will be contributing to the profitable growth and play an active role in its development as you learn valuable sales and technology skills at a highly successful and innovative software company.

WHAT YOU´LL DO:

Account Management:
Maintain and grow existing distribution, as well as expanding our distributor partnerships;
Administer and develop the relationship with our customers in your region;
Develop a deep understanding of customers need and develop distinctive value propositions that meet the business and customer expectations;
Answer phone calls and e-mail inquiries, provide pricing, create opportunities, consult with clients on appropriate product licensing options.
Pipeline Management:
Follow up on Opportunities and send Status Reports;
Maintain a proactive outbound contact plan for our top existing customers.
Leads Management:
Help drive our leads management program: qualify new sales leads, convert them into Opportunities and refer them to the most adequate Reseller.
Complaint resolution:
Take ownership and resolve escalated telephone and written customer issues;
Identify, prioritize and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.
Database Management:
Maintain data integrity within our CRM database by updating existing customer accounts or entering new account information as needed for customers you have contact with;
Follow GDPR and company guidelines when maintaining all customer data.
Pro-active outbound contact:
Prospect, develop and follow up on new customer relationships.
Cross-departmental collaboration:
Work in close collaboration with cross functional teams to find the best solution for each customer (Marketing, Tech Support, Accounting, Shipping department).


WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

This role requires a person who has a proven track record of supporting several different partners based in multiple locations, and has the ability to build strong relationships;
A proactive approach to contact both existing customers, hot leads and a strategic approach to pipeline maintenance;
Prior experience maintaining a CRM and proficiency in Microsoft Office (email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), accuracy with careful attention to details;
Be flexible, well organized, have the ability to prioritize and multi-task;
Passionate about software and high-tech products;
A very positive, team-oriented attitude, with high energy levels as well as strong communication and organizational skills;
The applicant must be able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision, always striving to go the extra mile to deliver excellent performance;
A personality who provides real clarity on what others are accountable for and takes responsibility for doing what they say they will do;
Ability to pro-actively identify solutions or work to develop new approaches to meet changing needs by embracing new ways of working;
Willingness to learn, grow and expand knowledge and responsibility to support a growing business and sales model.
COMPETENCIES:

Self-motivated; achieves through teamwork and continuous learning.
Minimum 2 years of relevant customer service (customer facing) or selling experience (direct sales, value-added sales and/or distribution channels) gained preferably in a multinational environment.
Acts decisively to improve performance.
Knowledge of EMEA geography and cultures.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in German and English (any other language is a plus).
